Hello, and welcome to my website! I'm JumboSizedFish, or Daniel "Danny."
I am a hobbyist programmer, video game developer, vector graphic designer, and character designer from Texas. On my free time, I like making mediocre yet hopefully memorable open-source and open-content games for Windows and Linux.
I specialize in the Lua programming language and the Love2D video game framework, and I want to be fluent in C and Fennel. I also have some experience with Python, JavaScript, C#, HTML, and CSS.
Hardware
I use an AMD-powered OmmiDesk with Fedora Cinnamon; I had shrunk its Windows 11 preinstallation to a generously small partition and would use it for native testing. I previously used a Windows gaming laptop since, AFAIK, 2020.
I primarily, not exclusively, game on my Steam Deck OLED. I find it very convenient to just pick up my Deck and play a game from my Steam and GOG libraries.
I also own a NES, a Supa RetroN HD (a SNES clone), a modded first-generation Wii, a modded New 3DS XL, a modded slim Vita, a slim PS2, and a slim PS3. I primarily use my aforementioned PS3 as my home entertainment center.
Beliefs
- I am, foremost, a
paleoconservative libertarian: I believe that 
private property, individual liberty, 
free association, and 
laissez-faire market economies are the bedrock to a traditional and orderly society. The tradition of 
classical liberalism is forever under constant attack by socialists seeking to plunder free societies.
- I am culturally a
progressive traditionalist; in fact, I would argue that progressivism is inherently right-wing, as you would need to maintain and restore reforms that built society. Progressivism without conservatism is progressivism without purpose.
- I believe in free software and hardware, and a free culture. I view "intellectual property" – a misnomer for intellectual monopoly grants or intellectual monopolies – as a form of economic regulation that has caused stagnation and perversion of our culture.
- I am fully against abortion, as it is inherently murder of an unborn person that has not and could never aggress on their mother from their existence.
- I am a Second Amendment absolutist. The Constitution arguably affirms that any law-abiding citizen has an inalienable right to keep and bear arms.
- If you were curious, I am a

- Since January 2022, I currently hold a ~16.23-minute speedrun world record for Human Resource Machine. I got the record with ~20.87 minutes, and the former world holder's best time is currently ~21.52 minutes.
