Welcome to the Luaring, the webring for and by the Lua community.

Lua (moon in Portuguese), a free and open-source procedural programming language, is one the fastest scripting languages in the world! For being very capable and robust, it’s very beginner-friendly, making it ideal as a first computer language to learn.

Registration

If you are interested in joining Luaring, contact JumboSizedFish with the following information:

• A notice that you want to join Luaring, such as titling your email "Luaring join request."
• The URL to your website;
• Your name, or the title of your website;
• A short description about your website; and
• The URL to your 88x31 button, if you have one.

Rules

This webring is for the Lua community: you must be an user of the Lua programming language. Any programmer of any skill level is welcomed here.

Your website does not need to be about Lua, but it’s ideal that you do talk about Lua: share scripts, display software made with Lua, post tutorials, etc.

Widget

On approval, you would need to add the widget to your website in the following steps:

1. Download the widget icon and upload it your website. If you want the widget to be more compact, you can remove the icon from the widget.
2. Download the widget's CSS, upload it to your website, and link it. Alternatively, you can copy its code and paste it within a <style> tag.
3. Add the widget's HTML to your page. Make sure <img>'s source matches your website's copy of the icon!
